Disgorged, sparkling.

Vibrant, fruity, subtle tannins, incredibly refreshing and quaffable.

Herioun is sadly a one-off cider due to the Orchard in question being damaged by marauding sheep in 2022. Most trees promptly died or either suffered before succumbing to disease or heat stress. We shall instead have to console ourselves with this record of those trees bemoaned in the form of this delicious juice. We would so loved to have made it again. We thought we’d invoke the Anglo-Normaund spelling for Heron, as the Orchard was often visited by a solitary bird or two. The heron is also associated with fertility in Saxon and many other cultures and this too seemed appropriate, as in the year in question one of our good friends and apple pickers became pregnant. So drink this cider, go forth and proliferate!
