Hire our bar
We are a completely portable bar-for-hire and can quite literally go anywhere. Over the years we've served drinks on stormy shores, the deck of a battleship, at a woodland falconry display in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, at a ruined country house, as well as institutions such as Dulwich Picture Gallery, Gagosian, Museum of London, Kallos Gallery, Hostem, University of The Arts and ICAP to name but a few.The Gimlet Bar experience combines original drinks, all created from scratch and served from a zinc-topped razzle-dazzle bar by our super team.

The drinks
As we work seasonally, our cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks vary from week to week. A typical cocktail menu will normally involve a balanced selection of drinks, for example, something long and refreshing, something aromatic or bitter, and something a bit stronger (and more sour) such as our beloved Gimlet cocktail. It's also worth noting that we always serve non alcoholic drinks alongside our cocktails, which are made with the same care. Our drinks often incorporate some sort of English influence; many of our syrups and alcoholic infusions are based on recipes of old, as well as new.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many drinks per guest?
The general rule of thumb seems to be; two drinks in the first hour, one drink every hour thereafter. Should you wish to reduce or increase the number of drinks per guest, we can of course factor this into your quote. How long is the cocktail service?
The perfect cocktail service, in our opinion is three hours long and this normally what we base our quote on.
