Thanks to excellent growing conditions thoughout the season, our canes planted in 2017 have reached the top cable and even gone beyond. Some measure 8ft tall and have been turned back towards the earth and tied in.

The above photo shows a row of Glen Magna, which fruit on the previous year’s growth. This means these will produce fruit next summer. After fruiting they will be cut out to make room for the emerging shoots which will take up the fruiting mantle in 2021.
